AI Universal

Ideal for self-adhesive and linerless products, they handle substrates such as paper, PP, PE, PVT, PET, Tyvek, and thin films on PET liners with ease. Designed for kiss and through-cutting, these dies are compatible with digital, rotary, and flatbed production processes and can be combined with creasing, perforation, and micro-perforation features.

They are suitable for use on self-adhesive label presses, sheet-fed and roll-fed machines, sheet-fed offset presses, and envelope manufacturing. Die heights range from 0.3mm to 1.5mm, with cutting angles available between 30° and 110°, allowing for versatile customization to meet your production needs.

3L (Laser Long Life)

All the performance characteristics of the AI Universal flexible die, enhanced with an advanced laser hardening process for superior durability. Specifically engineered for abrasive substrates including thermal paper and opaque, white, and luminous colored inks.

The laser-hardened cutting edges achieve a hardness level of 58–62 HRC, significantly increasing wear resistance and extending die life by up to 300%. This environmentally friendly hardening method maintains full magnetic adhesion, ensuring secure die mounting without compromise.

GlueX 

Combining the high-precision cutting performance of your chosen Kocher+Beck flexible die with an advanced non-stick coating process engineered to minimize adhesive buildup during production. This specialized coating significantly reduces material residue on the cutting edges, enhancing die longevity and maintaining cutting accuracy over extended runs. It is particularly recommended for complex multi-layer substrates, hotmelt adhesives, and various rubber-based adhesive formulations that commonly cause sticking issues.

Chrome24

Featuring the superior performance of the AI Universal flexible die reinforced with our advanced Chrome 24 coating, this solution is engineered specifically for demanding, high-volume production runs. Ideal for processing multi-layer constructions and abrasive substrates such as thermal or thermal transfer SK materials, the Chrome 24 coating enhances durability and wear resistance.

With hardness levels reaching 70 HRC, this coating provides exceptional long-run capabilities while maintaining precise cutting heights and angles throughout extended production cycles.
