TecScreen screen printing plates are manufactured completely in the main plant in Pliezhausen. In various stages in a modern strip plating machine, the stainless steel wire cloth is nickel-plated and coiled under strict clean room conditions. The wire cloth is coated with photopolymer in the clean room. The laminated transparent carrier foil protects the wire cloth against mechanical damage in the subsequent production.
Safe Handling
The high-contrast red inking of the screen printing plate facilitates a quick visual assessment for faults in the prepress phase. Due to its highly symmetrical nickel coating, the TecScreen fabric is robust in terms of handling and printing and tolerant to foreign matter and splices. The TecScreen grades offered by Kocher+Beck cover all common printing tasks and are available for all machine types on the market. TecScreen can be processed conventionally with films in a exposure unit; common digital UV imagesetters can also be used for imaging.
